There are always conferences, events, workshops, training sessions or familiarisations coming up in your region and around Australia. They are a great way to keep your skills and knowledge up to date and to mingle with like minded people.
Below is a list of coming events from guiding and tourism related fields. If your organisations event isn't here or you know of one that should be - just let us know.
GOA will be holding its inaugural national conference for tour guides 25th - 27th August 2008. This will be held at Mantra Legends Hotel, Surfers Paradise, on Queensland's Gold Coast. There will be a variety of works shops and famils over the 3 days. To register click here.

Savannah Guides School - Katherine Northern Territory
Thursday 6th November to Sunday 9th November 2008
The next Savannah Guides School will be held in Katherine, Northern
Territory. This school will focus on water and river environs tying
together aspects of water usage and management, hydrology, geology and
exploration. The school will also incorporate cultural aspects with links
to water and the Katherine River as we spend time in both Jawoyn and
Waderman land.

Australia's first global Conference dedicated to Green

and Regional South Australia from 17 - 20 November this year.

on Climate Change, a broad range of solutions and best practice examples on
the topic of greenhouse mitigation,
