Monarto Zoo: Zoos SA

August/September 2010

Volunteers are an essential aspect of the structure within ZoosSA.

They are the 'face' of both Zoos & interact with the general public during interpretative tours which focus on conservation, education & recreation.

Volunteers encourage visitors to become involved in Conservation & deliver key messages on the challenges affecting animal species (native & exotic).

Our Volunteers are required to join as members of the Society & must be at least 18 years of age.

There are many different opportunities available to Volunteers within the Society.

Our Training Course at Monarto Zoo has TAFE accreditation.

Our 'catch phrases' are -

'We exist to save animals from extinction' & 'Connecting people with Conservation'.
